I've just tested with my own XML and XSD documents (having more than 40
lines within my XML input documents), and I don't see with my test cases
the sorts of bugs which you've found. I've attached my test cases to the
Jira issue XERCESJ-1726.

I'd suggest that, let's continue this discussion on the Jira issue itself.
