Problem using XML-Xerces-2.3.0-3 on windows with Perl 5.8.1

Hi All,

I have recently upgraded to ActivePerl-5.8.1 and since that time I have been
unable to use XML-Xerces. Whenever I run a script that uses XML::Xerces I
get an application error. The scripts run just fine if I use perl 5.6. I
understand that 5.6 modules need to be recomplied to be used on 5.8.

I have tried compiling XML-Xerces-2.4.0-0 with the
xerces-c2_4_0-windows_nt-msvc_60 kit with no success. I get the following
messages:
