Page count after formatting?

Hello,

is there a possibility to get the page count of the latest converted
document?

Something like Apache FOP provides: 

fopInputHandler.renderTo(foUserAgent,
translateOutputFormat(outputFormat), renderedDocument);
int pageCount = fopInputHandler.getPageCount();
