Bugs item #970755, was opened at 2004-06-10 23:49 Message generated for change (Settings changed) made by kriede You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=454391&aid=970755&group_id=48863 Category: all platforms Group: beta-0.4 >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Kurt Riede (kriede) Summary: Multiple links to elements Initial Comment: I'm using beta-0.4. I have multiple xsd files that are included into a main xsd file. The problem is that upon generating the documentation on my main xsd file, I get multiple links to the same elements/groups/etc. After struggling a bit to find out why, here is the answer: XSD C contains basic elements XSD B includes XSD C and contains higher-level elements XSD A is the main one, it includes XSD B but also includes XSD C! This causes the problem with multiple entries. Also, while I'm it ( ;-) ), I've downloaded the full LINUX distribution and found these 2 little things: - in the readme.txt, there is a typo on some of the env. variable. It reads "XSDOC_HOME" (should have a double 'D'). Of course, when I set up my environment, I pasted the wrong one... - the file bin/xsddoc is a LINUX/UNIX shell, but it was saved as a Windows-like file (including the <cr>). When trying to invoke this shell, it took me a while to find why it didn't work... A simple dos2unix would do... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Kurt Riede (kriede) Date: 2004-06-16 16:30 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=484961 Fixed in CVS HEAD. WIll be available in next release xsddoc-0.5-beta. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Kurt Riede (kriede) Date: 2004-06-11 12:45 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=484961 Thanx for the detailed feedback.
