Summary: alphabetical index of elements

Initial Comment:
Our xsd files has a large number of elements, so it
would be very helpful to be able to jump to elements
beginning with a given letter. Doxygen generates an
index like this for class names. Here's an example:

OK, here are the first two examples of the new index pages:

http://xframe.sourceforge.net/xsddoc/xsddocs/stress/stress.x
sd
http://xframe.sourceforge.net/xsddoc/xsddocs/xsddoc/xsddoc.
xsd

New features:
1. lower left frame initially shows full list of all components
2. main frame: new link to new index page

The next task will be to group the entries on the index page
by their starting letter and to add a list of links to all letters in
the upper and lower navigation.

Any suggestions about improvements are welcome.

Regards
Kurt

Thank you for your suggestion. We are also missing this
feature. It is on our task list since a long time (see here:
http://sourceforge.net/pm/task.php?
func=detailtask&project_task_id=88489&group_id=48863&grou
p_project_id=32281 ).
Encouraged by your request, yesterday I tried a first
approach similar to JavaDoc: you have a complete list of all
components in the lower left frame at the beginning and
alternativly a new index page that is linked in the navigation
in the main frame which also includes the short description of
each component.
I will check this in into CVS later today.
As soon as the examples are documented with this new
version, any suggestions for improvements are welcome.

regards
Kurt
