Summary: maven plugin triggers Bus Error during report generation

Initial Comment:
After adding the xsddoc plaugin as per the default
instructions, an attempt to build the XSD documentation
results in maven taking a long time to complete the
task, with Java thrashing, until eventually it bombs
out with a bus error:

[echo] Generating the XML Schema Documentation...
maven-xsddoc-plugin:report:

        [echo] Processing schema EndOfDay/eod.xsd
/opt/maven-1.0.2/bin/maven: line 162: 27369 Bus error
             "$JAVACMD" $MAVEN_OPTS
-Djavax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory=org.apache.xerces.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl
-Djavax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory=org.apache.xerces.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl
"-Djava.endorsed.dirs=${MAVEN_ENDORSED}" -classpath
"${MAVEN_HOME}/lib/forehead-${FOREHEAD_VERSION}.jar"
"-Dforehead.conf.file=${MAVEN_HOME}/bin/forehead.conf"
"-Dtools.jar=$TOOLS_JAR" "-Dmaven.home=${MAVEN_HOME}"
$MAIN_CLASS "$@"

I can mail the schemas that produce the error privately.

Just for completeness I forward a message from Graham that
the problem was outside the scope of xsddoc:

> I tried the generation on a separate machine (Solaris8 / Sun
JDK), and
> it worked - it seems it was a bug in the Apple port of Sun's
JDK rather
> than xsddoc - sorry for the false alarm :(

Thank you for the report.
Could you please send the schema to
[email protected] and please also tell us which
JDK and which version of Maven you are using.

Regards
Kurt
