Summary: invalid entry in project.xml file

Initial Comment:
the <exclude> section in project.xml for the 0.8
release should be wrapped in <excludes> instead
(individual elements are <exclude>). Can this be
corrected in CVS? It caused a repository conversion to
fail when the release was submitted to the Maven
repository.
