As you probably know, all Apache projects are using Subversion for source 
control. You will need to install it [2] and download latest Xindice source code 
[1] using svn command. Source code includes documentation, in XML files. You can 
edit them and locally preview your changes using forrest [3].

Once you done the editing, you should prepare patch (svn diff) and send it to 
this mailing list.
