No, I haven't even thought about it. I would start by looking at how others 
may have solved the problem. 

Is Xindice currently hamstrung on this XQuery issue by reason of using Xerces 
as its parser? 

Have you all discussed this issue already? 

Any info as to the future of Xindice and XQuery?
