Updating xmlrpc-1.1.jar

I am running into some conflicts in using xindice in a project (Apache
OFBiz) that uses a more current version of xmlrpc.  What are my options
to get them to work together?

These are the ones I can think of.
Run a second tomcat instance on another port just for xindice
Refactor Xindice to use more current xmlrpc

am I missing an option or three?
