Never mind. I just discovered that this info is documented under nextToken(), not the most obvious place, but it is there. However, I do note that getText() does not always return null for tags, even though I did not set http://xmlpull.org/v1/doc/features.html#xml-roundtrip to true. This is possibly a bug.
