i was suspecting that may be the problem so i have uploaded current 
distribution to

http://www.extreme.indiana.edu/xgws/xsoap/xpp/download/

and you can get the latest jar from

http://www.extreme.indiana.edu/xgws/xsoap/xpp/download/PullParser2/build/lib/

XPP2 is not related to XmlPull and so can not be uploaded to xmlpull.org
