Hi Vivek,
Thanks very much. We have a product called nGenius Performance manager(www.netscout.com). This generates graphs and charts of network performance and we are sending those charts and graphs to server using kxml and ksoap. We have checked that that the client is resolving the domain name. This is happening on one of our customer sites. But it works for other customers. Only thing I can find out is the java plugin(1.4.1_02) has manual proxy settings as follows :
Java(TM) Plug-in: Version 1.4.1_02
Using JRE version 1.4.1_02 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
User home directory = C:\Documents and Settings\is310rrProxy Configuration: Manual Configuration
Proxy: http=sa1isa1:80,https=sa1isa1:80,ftp=sa1isa1:80,gopher=sa1isa1:80
Proxy Overrides: sacws1,sa1cws1a,sa1rtm1,sa1rtm1a,<local>
Since we are able to connect to our server which is genenrating the Graphs and charts. It is only happening when we try to generate the Ad-Hoc reports which uses kxml, ksoap and apache-axis.
Thanks,
Narendra

Hi ,
I think that your machine on which the error happens is not
configured correctly to resolve domain names. I have faced this
problem too..but when I give the IP address of the host it works
fine.may be you can try the same to confirm if its the same problem.
btw,you seem to be using kSOAP,Do you have any kind of data for its
performance??
Vivek
