Helping with XML Pull Parser Implementations

I'm interested in helping with the development of an XML Pull Parser in 
Java. I've got a couple years of hobby programming in Java under my 
belt, and I've written a pull parser for a simplified version of XML 
that didn't support attributes. The parser was written in Java from 
scratch. 

I'd like to apply some of my experience from that project on an open 
source XML pull parser implmented in Java.

Would this group be willing to recommend a project that meets this 
criteria and that might be interested in some assistance?
