Cairo backend: too much of a good thing

The code in CVS can now produce PostScript and PDF output using the Cairo
backend, but no graphics yet.

However, the text in both PostScript and PDF output is about 50% too large, so
pagination is completely different between GNOME Print and Cairo backends.
