Remove '--catalogs' option?

From the use-it-or-lose-it department, is anybody using the '--catalogs'
option of xmlroff for using SGML catalogs when running xmlroff?

I used to use it a long time ago, but haven't for literally years.

If it really is unused, then I will remove it (unless someone else volunteers
to spend the few minutes needed to do it and check it).
