Unable to Check Out xmlroff Subversion Repository Trunk

I have tried to check out the xmlroff subversion trunk  without success:

  svn co http://svn.xmlroff.org/trunk/xmlroff .

etc., and get messages like:

  svn: OPTIONS of 'http://<path>': 200 OK (http://svn.xmlroff.org)

If it is publicly available, how can I check it out?
