xmlroff works (on Linux, at least).  What I was trying to say is that
the additional properties defined in PangoXSL don't affect the
rendering.

Unfortunately, I have no idea.  I don't use cygwin.

Is there a sample app for GNOME Print that you can run for comparison?

These error messages appear very low level and not directly related to
anything xmlroff is doing.

What version of xmlroff are you using?
