Overview of Changes in Pango 1.2.3.1 ==================================== * Added --disable-gp configure argument for compiling before GNOME Print is installed. * Changed to build and use pangopdf-querymodules instead of pango-querymodules so PangoPDF stays out of the way of Pango. * Other installation fixes. Download from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pangopdf/. The --disable-gp option allows you to compile and install PangoPDF without compiling the GNOME Print backend. If you don't have GNOME Print installed, you can run: ./configure --disable-gp then build and install PangoPDF, then build and install GNOME Print, then run configure again without the --disable-gp option to build PangoPDF with the GNOME Print backend. It's more a workaround than a solution for the Pango-GNOME Print interdependency, but I expect that the real solution will require a separate configure script for the GNOME Print backend.
