Re: Error "libxml2 library function failed:expr=xpointer"

Thanks for your answer! I checked the FAQ and tried to use the --id-attr
option like this

xmlsec1 --verify --id-attr:ID urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:protocol
/tmp/saml-payload.xml

but I still get the same error. There is probably something obvious I'm
missing, here is the element where is the ID attribute.

<saml2p:Response Destination='https://login.myapp.com'
ID='_16f38644-6274-4ed9-b616-dfec0ba7f160'
IssueInstant='2015-04-17T15:25:40.250Z' Version='2.0'
xmlns:saml2p='urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:protocol'>
