XPath with SAX?

Hi,

Most=20XPath=20implementations=20appear=20to=20use=20some=20DOM=20Parser=20=
as=20the=20base=20to
perform=20XPath=20resolution.=20However,=20is=20there=20an=20approach=20th=
at=20uses=20a=20SAX
parser=20to=20find=20the=20correct=20location=20as=20specified=20in=20the=20=
XPath=20and=20then
return=20the=20corresponding=20nodeset.=20(Yes,=20I=20realise=20this=20sou=
nds=20like
mixing=20a=20bit=20of=20SAX=20with=20a=20bit=20of=20DOM.)

My=20problem=20is=20having=20to=20apply=20XPath=20expressions=20to=20VERY=20=
large=20documents
where=20DOM=20parsing=20is=20hugely=20resource=20intensive.

Ideas/Thoughts=20greatly=20appreciated.
