func:script

Hi,

I trying to post again because my yestarday post never arrived

I'm quite new at EXSLT, so sorry for my question ;-)
I want to call an external function in my XSL file and the func:script would 
have suited me very well.
Howver I've read on the web page that There are currently no XSLT processors 
that we know of that support func:script natively. There are currently no 
third-party implementations of func:script.

Have things evolved since 2001-05-20 ?
Do you know any other way to do what I want to do /
