IMHO I think EXSLT is dying a natural death having served its original 
purpose...a bit of energy and effort is required to re-invent and 
re-invigorate....though I think there is quite a bit of value in 
patching things and making sure what is out there works 
properly......there is also the matter of time...of which most of us 
have none.

I will do my best in the coming weeks to address issues raised over the 
past few months, I have popped in from time to time though I have had 
little time...what is obvious is that the complete EXSLT distro needs an 
overhaul...I will put my thoughts together on EXLST admin list and see 
what I can do.

At the least I will put together an EXSLT distro that I know 
works....and see if I can get it put up on the site.
