I have the same problem, Can you help me, please ?

I'm a bit of a neophyte on configuring EXSLT extensions
I'm trying to use the split functions from the string extensions and I'm

confused about
how to configure such that they are found during execution.
My code begins with :
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
    xmlns:str="http://exslt.org/strings"
    extension-element-prefixes="str">

    <xsl:import href="str.xsl" />

    <xsl:template match="/">
                   ....balance of stylesheet ....

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was lifted from the EXSLT documentation. I have the str.zip file
in my classpath.
I was expecting to see http://exslt.org/strings be resolved in the
str.zip file but there is nothing like it there.
Also, the import statement gets an error, 'unable to locate object'

So I'm sure to the experience user this is a no-brainer but its
confusing to me
What do I need to do to have the string extension be usable?

Thanks in advance for your help
