Well, besides the fact that I'm a completeness freak, I think it might
enable some interesting runtime introspection of the current stylesheet,
such as user-defined traces and maybe other cool things that people
could invent.  Also, it seems like it'd be easy and unobtrusive to spec
out and implement.
