Re: date:date returns 2000-01-01Z. What is wrong?

As I see,
The date:date function returns the date specified in the date/time string
given as the argument. If no argument is given, then the current local
date/time, as returned by date:date-time is used as a default argument.

Template1
<xsl:call-template name="date:date">
               <xsl:with-param name="date" />
</xsl:call-template>
returns 2000-01-01Z, but
Template2
<xsl:call-template name="date:date">
               <xsl:with-param name="date" />
</xsl:call-template>
returns "".

I simply want to get current date, that is all I want! :)

My xsl file starts with
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
  xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
  xmlns:date="http://exslt.org/dates-and-times"
  extension-element-prefixes="date">

<xsl:import href="date/date.date.xsl" />
("date" folder consists of unpacked date.date.zip)

I'm using xalan-2.7.0, there is no errors while compiling xsl file.

Do u have a links on simple xsl that using date.date.zip?
