Hello Robert,

I quite like the ideas behind this representation.
I have found through experience that for some people the transition from a strict data representation format to a metamodel like Topic Maps can be quite difficult. I would expect that TM/JSON feels more natural to them. This could possibly help a lot in getting Topic Maps more accepted in certain places.

I still need to have a closer look at the complete proposal to give more specific comments.

Here is my first proposal for TM/JSON which is in the spirit of TM/
XML. The main idea is to have an object representation of a topic map
in any programming language that supports JSON without writing or
generating mapping code and still being able to access the
information with little to no knowledge of Topic Maps.
