PS: I resisted blogging for a long time but have found it is easier to
write short pieces rather than wait until I have long periods
(days/weeks) of unbroken time to read/write about topic maps. 

When longer periods of time present themselves (hopefully), I can gather
up the various snippets I have written in short form for
expansion/annotation. 

That is the theory anyway.
