Agreed. This community has never lacked for ideas, nor for orphaned
ideas.

I'll try to consolidate my comments into something relatively short
and sweet. Most of them have to do with including the ability to
instantiate the existing internal relationships (both implicit and
explicit) within the DC Metadata Terms. One should be able to
create a single graph of both the terms and relations, i.e., no
disconnected nodes. I have an LTM document that does that if it's
any help, but it's probably more important to have the draft
provide the ability to express the entirety of DCMT.

This could also be done by including the entirety or a subset of the
semantics of DCMI Grammatical Principles [DCGRAM] and DCMI Abstract
Model [DCAM], as they underpin the vocabulary. This used to be
provided by ISO 11179 but was replaced awhile back with these
purpose-built vocabularies. I wish they'd kept the 11179 conformance
but DCMI obviously didn't see that value.
