Why don't you use rdf:object, rdf:predicate, rdf:object directly?

A minor problem of the arcs proposal is that it seems to imply a
direction, but TMDM's edges (associations) are undirected (unlike
RDF's triples and TMRM's edges).

I am skeptical because I am afraid that it leads to a bad modelling
practice where the author puts everything into "arcs" and does not
care about properly defined role types anymore.
