I'm not yet convinced that I want to be part of this exercise.

Quite apart from anything else, Michel Biezunski is not on the list.

He probably introduced more people to Topic Maps than almost anyone else, and
without his persistence in the late '90s, Topic Maps would have died in the cradle.

Furthermore, the criteria for having introduced someone to Topic Maps are very
unclear. At the very least, please add a Comment occurrence to the topic type
Person, so that we can be a little more precise in how we record our history.

Get Michel onto the list, give me the occurrence type I ask for, and all shall be
revealed :)

But be aware that an integer-based system cannot account for Michel's position: he
rightly belongs somewhere between 0 and 1.

My recollection is that Alex first drank the Kool-Aid at the Topic Maps track I
organized for XML Europe 2000 in Paris -- and was then thoroughly brain-washed at
ICCS 2000 in Darmstadt :)
