Strange idea? - Open Source Topic Maps resources

Hi all,

While looking into an uncertain Topic Maps future, I wonder why we
don't publish the code which drives (iso)topicmaps.org. We could host
the sites at Github (or Bitbucked or anything which offers a
distributed revision control) and anyone may fork the sites and may
initiate "pull" requests which may be accepted or not by the
maintainers of the sites.

If you don't like the explanation of i.e.
<http://psi.topicmaps.org/iso13250/glossary/occurrence-type> or you
don't like the layout you'd fork the site and provide a better
explanation and initiate a pull request.

This would take some burden from the maintainers and make *you*
responsible for the Topic Maps PR.

The repositories could be synchronized automatically or manually when
the maintainers think, it's ready.

Thoughts?
