The 2008-07-15 draft [1] contained something like that. (The TMQL.css cannot be found at the server so the draft is difficult to read.) It provided a similar model as XPath/XQuery/XDM: Tuples, sequences, atomic values etc. I don't know if TMQL has anything like that in the latest design attempts. The OO-alike TMDM seems to be the foundation.
