The 2nd CS-LTA 2011 workshop is to be held in conjuction with the 19th
International Conference on Conceptual Structures, 25-29 July 2011,
University of Derby, United
Kingdom. http://wwww.derby.ac.uk/computing/iccs2011/conceptual-structures

Conceptual Structures (CS) features in the curricula of many
educational institutions (e.g. universities) around the world. The
Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA) of CS thus becomes a
significant topic of interest in its own right.

The Second Conceptual Structures - Learning, Teaching and Assessment
(CS-LTA) workshop at ICCS 2011 recognises this work, and provides a
forum for it to be disseminated as a key activity in CS.


Paper Submission:

Paper submissions are solicited on topics that include but are not
restricted to the LTA of:

      * Conceptual Graphs theory or applications
      * Graph-based reasoning systems (e.g. RDF or Existential Graphs)
      * Formal Concept Analysis
      * Semantic Web Technologies
      * Ontologies
      * Concept Mapping
      * Peircian Logic and Semiotics
      * Peircian Pragmaticism
      * CS techniques derived from artificial intelligence, knowledge
        representation and reasoning, applied mathematics and lattice
      * theory, computational linguistics, conceptual modeling and
      * design, diagrammatic reasoning and logic, intelligent systems
      * and knowledge management.

Submission Details

All submitted papers will be reviewed by the program committee of the
CS-LTA 2011. Papers are limited to 8 pages in Springer's LNCS
format. Position papers up to 4 pages are also welcome. For more
details see www.springer.de/comp/lncs. All accepted papers will be
published in the workshop proceedings, and extended versions of
selected papers may be published in a relevant and well-known
international journal.
