Well, XTM, JTM, TMAPI...

I wonder if you can provide any pointers to RDF/XML, JSON/RDF,
Sesame's API, or to JRDF in SPARQL?

The result sets are independent of the query language for a good
reason.

Iff TMQL is independent of any concrete result set (and does not
mention XTM, CTM, or TMAPI for result sets), I'd agree.
