Let's remove the @rho scope

Hi all,

what better use for a Friday afternoon than sitting in front of your
computers and taking care for extincting mailing lists.
And there was this #FF thing. Wasn't this FlamewarFriday?</irony>

After the discussion about TOLOG for TMQL I wanted to get your
perspective about something which is much closer to my personal
opinion than the TOLOG proposal:

*drumroll*

TMQL@rho, aka TMQL-2008-07-15 aka the infamous Barta draft for TMQL

I know it has some insufficiencies, I outlined some below. Please add
your critiques in short points to the list and provide an additional
explanation if needed. I'll try to compile this list from time to time
and take the right to (ab)use it as input for my editing work. You are
welcome to scope your comments with e.g. @political, @technical,
@educational to give a quick hint about the intention of your comment
to the bored (German speakers: read "inclined") reader.

* filtering is only allowed as last navigation step currently. Would
be better if it was allowed after each step
* it's too far from the future, especially its perspective of the TMDM
(e.g. in handling roles, variants)
* it allows the educated user to write too concise queries which would
confuse the untaught reader
* it has only two open source implementations available: TMQL4J [1] in
Java (APL2) and TM::QL [2] in Perl (GNU and Artistic License)
* these open source implementations give the academic Topic Maps Lab
and the cup burnishing perl monk a competitive advantage
