Maybe I bore the rest of the audience, but may I ask if you tried
MIO's AbstractHamsterMapHandler? And if you tried it, why did you
decide to implement IMapHandler directly (leaving reservations against
rodents aside)?

I am asking because I use mainly the hamster (not only for tinyTiM but
also in MIO and in the Python port) and I wondered if you discovered
performance impacts or other problems with it.
