Hi all, Some thoughts what we can do with TMQL. * Drop TMQL, standardize fix tolog and standardize it * Drop TMQL from ISO, establish an independent WG which develops a query language and come back with that query language to ISO. * Keep TMQL at ISO and help Rani to finish TMQL (a status quo report would be necessary) within the deadline (what's the deadline, btw?) Regardless of the path we choose I think we need a small, effective group that works on the standard (leaving all formalities like ISO/DIN member etc. aside). Rani could keep his editor role and communicate with ISO while he's backed by a group of Topic Maps experts who work with him on the draft (either TMQL or tolog). IMO we don't have any more time to loose. Other thoughts? I am not familiar with ISO regularities, so some points may not work or be against the ISO regularities.
