I have spent the last month creating an executable version of the spec.
I took the productions as they are and basically pasted them into a
Haskell parsing framework. Running them through test cases and what not
I discovered some subtle bugs in the spec, which I hope I fixed. I also
added the JSON compatibility stuff we discussed.

I also got Shachaf to write a basic Perl CGI script that accepts YAML
fragments and converts them to an annotated form with an interactive
syntax tree, and optionally saving them for reference. The idea is that
people will be able to try out "what does the spec say about X" and also
be able to post bugs/suggestions "the spec interprets Y in a weird way".

Hopefully this will find its way to yaml.org soon, together with the
updated 1.1 YAML spec containing the updated productions.

Happy Easter/Passover/Spring break,

	Oren Ben-Kiki.
