A yaml tool chain for C#

Hello all, To give a little background. I am currently working on creating a 1.2 compliant tool chain for yaml written in C#. We will be using yaml to serialize our property bag type objects. We considered JSON but liked the anchor functionality too much to not use yaml and XML was deemed far to chatty and does not diff or merge quite as easy as JSON/YAML like syntax. I have looked over the test files found in the Haskell 1.2 Reference implementation. It seems that the files do not have the actual Unicode characters in them. They have \x<hex>. I am guessing this is because Haskell does not have support for Unicode out of the box. So, is there a group of test files that contain actual Unicode characters? As with the bnf question below I could convert them all but if someone already has them I would appreciate it. Lastly, if anyone feels like it, I would be happy to hear any advice or pointers anyone might have. A very broad question but hey you never know.
