According to Clark, the character "@" is reserved for future use:

  The “@” (#x40, at) and “`” (#x60, grave accent) are reserved
  for future use.  Example 5.9 in the YAML specification.

However, he indicated that it might be possible to remove this
limitation in YAML 2.0.  I would be happy to see this change,
as it would make YAML-LD look a bit cleaner:

So, please consider this as an enhancement request.
