begin to implement YAML 1.2 in SnakeYAML

Hi all,
we develop SnakeYAML (YAML 1.1 parser for Java)
I would like to see how easy/difficult it is to support YAML 1.2 in
SnakeYAML.

I am reading the spec now. For minor questions I will create issues in
https://github.com/yaml/yaml/issues

There are some bigger questions which I will try to ask here in the mailing
list.
The first:
The example "Example 6.2. Indentation Indicators" contains TABs. Is it
intentional ?
Should this example be parsed by the YAML 1.1 parser (for instance PyYAML
or libyaml) ? Is it a change introduced in YAML 1.2 (I could not identify
that)
