If you are referring to http://www.yaml.org/spec/1.2/spec.html,<http://www.yaml.org/spec/1.2/spec.html> then example 2.5 is not the same as example 2.6. 2.6 is a mapping of mappings, a completely different thing to a sequence of sequences. A mapping has keys; a sequence only has indices.
