Thanks raj and ams for the solution and thank u
sanbdip for informing the same to me,Now I have
also subscribed to this list!!

But as already stated by raj and by ams that its
not portable and it wont work outside Linux(re).

I need it atleast to run on Solaris and Mac OS.
