Hi Abhijit,

I'm not sure I understand your question.

Let me explain my requirement in some more details.

I'm trying to write an application which needs to connect to
Internet for downloading some files. So, if the user is connected to
internet using some proxy, my program would also need that
information.

Possible answers range from getenv("http_proxy") to SOCKS.

Can you please elaborate on this? I mean, I want to know how can I
retrieve the Proxy Server details from my C/C++ program.

Adding to this, I wanted to find out all the network interfaces on
my machine which are connected to Internet and want to collect the
statistics of each, so that I can connect to Internet using the
Network Interface with maximum bandwidth available.

Thanks and Regards,
~Bhopal
