well i could have done that(getting the runtime OR the
latest release), but i have the complete 0.95 version
on CD with all the necessary plugins(around 37M) so i
was hoping that i would not have to wait for
downloading the runtime/graphics/wine plugins or
docs...

i'm on dialup...

that's why i was trying the source...

still trying to figure out how to get the glib
configuration to work fine!
