I have worked in Synapse myself. It is not a placement agency - but a
media company.  You can check the site plusthought.org for more on what
type of work they do.  One of the jobs required a java programmer and
hence I posted here.  Since I have not worked on java myself, I am not
sure if the technologies they were looking for is specific just to
Windows.   The ones on ASP and database technologies were not relevant
to this group and I should have deleted them  - my apologies for the
mistake.

They are not looking for N years of work experience, but for people with
good grasp of these technologies.  If a fresher knows them, they will
take him.

Hope this clarifies things a bit.
