I am a newbie in 3l33t writing, so just tell me - is 'y' in your lines 
above, equal to "why" in queen's english?

If the number of QT examples with its extensive documentation in the 
Trolltech QT help pages are too complicated for you, what you need is 
human guidance - because books are unlikely to be more explanatory.
