Screen capture during login time-XOpenDisplay

Hi,

Is there any way to capture the display during log in
time? =

Note: I am using Suse Linux.

Basically I have a daemon application, which can
capture screen for remote viewing purpose. I am using
XOpenDisplay() call to get connection with X server.
This works pretty well after I login to the system.
However I am not able to get a connection to display
server during login time.

So My qustion is that Is there any alternate way to
achieve this? or else will passing some other
parameter to XOpenDisplay() get me this result??
