Islamia presents ENCOMIUM*- The *Annual Technical Festival on *

*16 th - 17th September, 2006* . After hosting five hugely successful and
popular editions of ENCOMIUM, the IEEE JMI is back with the sixth edition of
the same. We, IEEE JMI have continuously been working in pursuit of
excellence. Recognizing the extra ordinary efforts made by JMI students'
branch, the *International Board of IEEE* has recently awarded us *'The best
student branch' in R10 countries* which include the entire Indian
sub-continent besides China, Japan and other Asian countries.

*ENIAC-II: The Pre-Designed Software Contest

ENIAC is an acronym for Electronic Numeric Integrator andCalculator,which
was the first electronic predecessor of the modern daydesktopPC.ENIAC is a
contest for pre-designed original software aimingtoexplore the creativity
and technical genius in students. It isthecontestants discretion to define
the concept of their software basedonthe given platform.

Rules and Regulations:

   1. It is a pre-designed software contest.
   2. The platform shall be Turbo C/C++/LINUX(All Tools
Included)/JAVA/DOT-NET.
   3. A team may not comprise of more than three members.
  4. The software, accompanying source code and basic documentation'
mustreach us by mail                                            before 30
August, 2006.
   5. The contest will be conducted in two stages:

         Stage 1- Apresentation by the team elucidating the design paradigm
that shallbeadjudged by                                 jury on the basis of
followingparameters:

=B7   Originality of concept

=B7   Toughness level of problem involved

=B7   Design methology used

=B7   Lucidity of code

          Stage 2 - A question answer session with the judges.
